🌟 **Support SustainableScoop's Summer of Sustainability Film Camp and After-School Program! 🌟**
Did you know that Arlington County is allocating a whopping $4.3 million to intervention, prevention, and education efforts for our teens? This funding is crucial for addressing teen mental health and the need for youth engagement.
That's why we're calling on our community to support SustainableScoop's Summer of Sustainability Film Camp and After-School Program. Our innovative programs provide teens with a creative outlet to express themselves while learning about sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion through the art of filmmaking.
With your help, we can expand our offerings and reach even more young minds. Imagine our impact on out-of-school programming and investments in new digital and in-person outreach strategies at our libraries and community engagement.
Let's invest in the future of our youth and cultivate a community where every voice is heard, and every story matters. Join us in supporting SustainableScoop's Summer of Sustainability Film Camp and After-School Program today! You can start by writing a letter to SustainableScoop explaining why you support our program.
Together, we can create a brighter, more sustainable future for generations to come. Thank you for your support! 🎥🌱 hashtag#SupportYouth SustainableScoop hashtag#SustainabilityMatters hashtag#EmpowerTeens Corwin Roncace Miriam Gennari

📢 Exciting News! 🌟
I am thrilled to share a remarkable announcement! In celebration of National Civics Day, Jill Biden, the First Lady of the United States, and Nickelodeon are teaming up to unveil an incredible short-form television series that makes civics engaging for kids.
This project, called 'Well Versed,' will feature 12 original pop songs that teach young viewers about democracy and the U.S. Bill of Rights. These fun lessons will be available on Nickelodeon, Paramount+, and Noggin, starting October 26.
What's more, 'Well Versed' is created in partnership with iCivics, a nonprofit founded by former U.S. Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor, dedicated to fostering civic education. It's amazing to know that as many as 145,000 educators and 9 million students use iCivics material each year.
This series covers various topics, making it accessible for kids of different age groups. It's a fantastic way for kids to learn about rules, disagreements, the Bill of Rights, and branches of government.
One more amazing tool parents, teachers and mentors can share @SustainableScoop is thrilled support this initiative. Let's inspire the next generation of well-informed citizens.
