What happens at a Flute Circle
- Introductions
- Feature player (CORWIN RONCACE)
- Introduce SustainableScoop
- Welcome guests to Flute Circle
- Mention Flute Enchantment DOCUMENTARY and explain how you can get involved in project
- Talk about how you became involved in the flute circle
- Handouts
- A few minutes of teaching to beginners
- Give flutes to guests
- Teach basis of playing the instrument.
- Pentatonic scale
- Simple improvisations
- Break for refreshments
- Playing to Drums
- Each person improvises to simple drum beat
- Discussion of local flute happenings
- Plan for the next meeting time and location
